Blimey! It feels like a long time since I was last here...
Its been a hectic last few months with uni, volunteer work and surgery plus silly ole me forgot logon details so couldn't get onto the forum.
Finally got round to emailing NRAS and voila... here I am!
I've got a lot to catch up on it seems.. so I shall go and have a nose around...
Hope you're all well

Yes have been pretty busy lately... keeps me out of trouble I guess
Leicester NRAS Group launches on 20th April and so we've been pulling everything together. Met with the rheumatologists last week and they have been fantastic with the support. We're also doing our 1st public event in June with a stall at a local carnival... It means we can get ourselves known as well as raising some money towards the group.
As its NRAS' 10th birthday, we'll be selling homemade cupcakes, along with some handcrafted items such as cards and jewellery that are being very kindly donated by friends and family
How is the group going Lyn? Any advice as we approach our launch?
Uni is going well, I passed my first module, Understanding Health. Now onto 2nd and 3rd module.
Have also been doing some volunteer work with Mind and NRAS... I've been very lucky in becoming a consultee on behalf of NRAS with NICE for anti-tnf treatment for juvenile rheumatoid. Hopefully my input will make a real difference in getting JIA treated and in remission asap....
I'm hoping to come along to the meet in Warwick... be lovely to see everyone again
Also doing a tandem skydive with Team 10 NRAS on 7th May.. Yup I am mad!!
